INNOVERSIL Code of Conduct & Integrity
Preamble:
As a member of INNOVERSIL, you are part of a global community dedicated to fostering innovation with integrity. This Code is the foundation of our shared commitment to excellence, respect, and ethical leadership. It applies to all members across all tiers (IA, IP, ICM) in all interactions, including those within the community, at events, and in public representations of your membership. Upholding this Code is a condition of your membership.
Section 1: Core Principles
All INNOVERSIL members pledge to uphold these five core principles:

Integrity and Honesty: We represent our qualifications, work, and achievements truthfully. We are transparent about conflicts of interest and do not misrepresent data or the impact of our innovation projects.

Respect and Inclusion: We treat all individuals with dignity and respect, valuing diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds. We foster an environment free of harassment, discrimination, and intimidation.

Excellence and Diligence: We pursue innovation with rigor, competence, and a commitment to quality. We continuously develop our skills and knowledge to provide value and drive meaningful progress.

Accountability and Responsibility: We take ownership of our actions and their consequences. We understand that our innovations have impact, and we strive to ensure that impact is positive, ethical, and sustainable.

Collaboration and Community: We share knowledge generously, credit others for their contributions, and seek to uplift fellow members. We act in the best interest of the community, not solely for personal gain.
Section 2: Standards of Conduct
2.1. Professional Representation:

Accurately represent your INNOVERSIL membership level (IA, IP, ICM) and the credentials it signifies.

Do not imply endorsement by INNOVERSIL for your projects, employers, or products without explicit authorization.
2.2. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property:

Respect and safeguard confidential information shared within the community or disclosed under non-disclosure agreements.

Respect all intellectual property rights—including copyrights, patents, and trademarks—of others and of INNOVERSIL.
2.3. Ethical Innovation:

Actively consider the social, environmental, and ethical implications of your work.

Do not engage in or promote innovations designed for deceptive, malicious, or unlawful purposes.
2.4. Community Interaction:

Engage in constructive, professional dialogue. Debate ideas, not people.

Report violations of this Code through the official channels. Reporting can be done confidentially.
2.5. Zero Tolerance:

INNOVERSIL has zero tolerance for sexual harassment, bullying, hate speech, or any form of discriminatory behavior.
Section 3: Enforcement & Reporting

Upholding the Code: Adherence to this Code is mandatory for all members. Violations may result in investigation by the INNOVERSIL Ethics Committee.

Consequences: Depending on the severity of the violation, consequences may include a formal warning, temporary suspension of membership benefits, revocation of membership without refund, or a permanent ban.

Reporting Process: Suspected violations can be reported in confidence to ethics@innoversil.com. Reports are investigated impartially and with discretion.

Good Faith: Members are expected to report violations in good faith. Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith is a serious violation of this Code.
Our Pledge:
By maintaining the highest standards of conduct, we not only protect the integrity of the INNOVERSIL credential but also strengthen our collective ability to drive positive and transformative change across the globe.
This Code of Conduct and Integrity is a living document and may be updated by the INNOVERSIL Global Board.
